IDP IELTS Test Centre Kalgoorlie

I would like to acknowledge the workers who work here. I took the IELTS general training exam on 30 Nov 2025. The workers at this centre were so kind to me and understanding! I told them about my diagnosis and that I need to take certain medications. They were so understanding, approachable, extremely kind and patient with me. Unfortunately, I don’t remember their names but would like to give you round of applause and my huge gratitude. Also, Roberta who took my Speaking test was so sweet and friendly! I didn’t even feel like I was taking exam but rather just having a chat with a friend with a cup of coffee! Huge thanks to you ladies at this centre. I could have not done this without you all!

I attended IELTS Perth on two occasions. First to complete a mock exam for a research project, and then again a few days later for an actual IELTS exam. On both occasions, the test centre's staff were friendly and welcoming. The centre isn't hard to find or get to. It's close to several bus stops, and is an easy ten minute walk from Perth station through the Cultural Centre. There are coded lockers on site for storing your belongings, and you will be assigned one on registration. You will not be allowed to bring anything into the examination room other than your passport, an unlabelled transparent water bottle, and your locker information card. If attending for a test, do turn up at the recommended time (at least half an hour before the start) as you'll need to provide some biometrics to register and it takes a few minutes. The lobby doesn't really have enough space for a full cohort of both paper and computer test takers, so expect for it to be a little crowded close to start time! Both of the tests I took were well run. The test managers explained everything clearly, and were always on hand to resolve problems and facilitate bathroom breaks. I also want to pay special credit to the speaking examiners. Even as a native speaker I was a little nervous about this section, but my examiner was excellent at encouraging me to express myself fully. It was actually quite fun! Overall, I had a great experience here and attained my desired result. I'd have no hesitation in recommending IELTS Perth to anyone who needs to prove their linguistic ability.

My experience is very rich and the atmosphere is very comfortable and the staff are very helpful. I was happy the way the test was conducted.
